It was predicted that Thor: Ragnarok may be one of the best Marvel movies ever created. After watching it, I have to concur that this will definitely be the biggest box office hit this year.

Fantastically scripted by Eric Pearson, Craig Kyle, and Christopher Yost, Thor: Ragnarok will offer Marvel fans a smorgasbord of experience which, in my opinion, is refreshing.

Apart from a well balanced scripted, which offers both action and humour, Marvel fans can expect to see exquisite special effects that will definitely not leave anyone disappointed.

The movie starts with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) taking on Surtur, a fiery demon who has been in his dreams and visions. Of course, this is just the start of an epic journey which requires Thor to fight against his estranged sister, Hela (Cate Blanchett), to save Asgard. Notably, Cate Blanchett is the first female lead villain in the history of Marvel movies.

Thor: Ragnarok is flawlessly directed by New Zealand's own Taika Waititi. Known to take on roles in movies he directs, Waititi provides the voice role of Korg, who was exiled to the Red Planet and was forced to fight as a gladiator.

Thor: Ragnarok was predominantly filmed in Australia. Everything from the selection of the cast to the selection of music is done with precision. It is rated PG-13, and although it has some adult humour, it is a movie that the family will enjoy.

In my opinion, Waititi has given Thor: Ragnarok a refreshing new appeal. I would definitely rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars.
