Johnny Grim, as those that know him can testify, is the absolute antithesis of his chosen nom-de-plume. He is charming, irrepresssible and a damn good writer.
Johnny (real name John Grimshaw) was named best new writer at the 2009 and 2010 Dramafests and has plays listed with South Australia's Moore Books and
Lazy Bee Scripts in England.
His new theatrical company is Elfin Productions who are producing
This is Christmas at the Latvian Centre Theatre this December.

It is written and directed by Grimshaw, who also plays a mordant, somewhat jaded, 120 year old elf called Zebedee.
Grimshaw describes
This is Christmas as: "The festive season as you've probably never seen before – or will – again. The show also has various iconic figures such as Jesus, Santa Claus, Rudolph, Prancer and three possibly wise men. The intention with
This is Christmas is to make it a 'fun-for-all' for all cast and crew, as well the audiences."
