Thirty-Seven Cafe on Brisbane rd, Bundamba, is a small cafe with friendly staff which serves coffee, tea, a variety of delicious fresh fruit juices and an all-day menu of delicious food. They are open every day from 7am to 2.30pm.
As a vegetarian who also doesn't eat dairy, I couldn't sample a lot of the dishes on the menu and but they looked delicious. There were several vegetarian options, including veggie sliders with halloumi, the usual smashed avo and fetta and a Vietnamese veggie salad with vermicelli noodles. There are also vegetarian sides like sweet potato fries. There are many options for meat eaters such as spicy chicken sliders, Vietnamese pork salad and a beef stew. There are also various sweet options to go with tea and coffee, such as brownies and biscuits. The food reflects the background of the owner, Ahn Ho, who is influenced by the combination of an Asian palate and an Australian upbringing.
I am gradually working my way through the drinks menu, so far my favourite is the purple juice with beetroot and apple.
Thirty-Seven Cafe is a great spot to meet up with friends or sit alone with a book while enjoying a refreshing iced tea or some great food. Just leave me a table by the window please - I was there first!
