The set-list for the Back to Grind Tour featured the songs that made them famous, along with tracks from their 2015 album 'Shifting Gears'. The crowd sang along to the chorus of 'In The Summertime', 'Someday Someday' and 'The Hard Way'. These songs were huge hits for Thirsty Merc back in the 2000's but it was '20 Good Reasons' that everyone was waiting to hear. '20 Good Reasons' was voted song of the year in 2008 and reached number one on iTunes in Australia, and was the song that made them known to a lot of fans today.
They told the audience that during 'Timeless Beauty' one woman from the Sydney show proposed. 'Timeless Beauty' is from the Shifting Gears album, this song is so beautiful and has the soul that we all fell in love with from our favourite tracks. 'The Good Life' is another favourite, it makes you realise what you have and where you're going. This one fits well with the tour because they've had a great career and after the release of their 2015 album have a long one ahead of them.
