Growing young minds is what ThinkPlus is passionate about amongst other things. They provide students from K to Year 7 with positive, practical brain knowledge to help them learn more effectively. They instil confidence and make learning more enjoyable for students; a skill set they carry through to adulthood in the 21st Century.

They have three FREE webinars upcoming as follows and you need to REGISTER to attend. Follow the event and registration links to find more information about the event and speakers.

Fri 11 Sep 1-2.15pm - Disaster Recovery & Resilience - REGISTER
Fri 23 Oct 1-2.30pm - Technology Mindsets - REGISTER

The first event is led by Professor Lisa Gibbs of University of Melbourne. The Professor has over 10 years of experience under her belt in disaster recovery and community resilience, including studies in beyond bushfires and child health and wellbeing. In this current climate, children have been witnessing disasters and graphic images of unrest and crime, unfiltered, streamed into our homes; perhaps unexplained. Join the conversation on how and what we as adults, parents, guardians, allied professionals and teachers can do to create supportive communities and build resilience and optimism in our children.

Travis Smith leads the next event on the mindsets students and teachers need to adopt to be resilient in a tech-driven next normal. Travis has a host of achievements in his career and is currently the Education Industry Lead for Microsoft Australia which involves managing education programs and more. The last event with Dr Claire Scoular revolves around preparing students for employment in the new world; and designing learning and assessment of next century skills and general capabilities. Don't miss these events with esteemed speakers that can only help the young thrive in a rapidly changing world.
