The 'Thinkers & Makers Society' is a collaboration of makers, designers, thinkers and tinkers that are located in Brunswick, Victoria. For Christmas this year on December 3rd they have a special workshop event that is definitely something not to miss!

On Saturday the 3rd of December from 9am until 5pm, multiple workshops of craftsmanship are available to join into with costs ranging from $25-$40 per person. The various workshop creations will make for a perfect Christmas gift - there's nothing more 'from the heart' than a handmade gift!



Workshops

Kokedama

Add a splash of green to your home and a loved ones with 2 Kokedamas to take home from this workshop. The class size will be small with only 6 to each and it runs for 1 and a half hours (like the other workshops). You will be able to select your own plants that will adorn your cute moss gardens. With all instructions, materials and tips provided all you need to bring is yourself.

Bonsai Closed Terrarium

Marie from Petite Gardens will assist you in this workshop to help you create your own miniature landscape. You will be taught how to do it completely on your own with information on selecting the right plants and how to care for your terrarium for the years and seasons to come. All you need to bring is a 'vessel' for your enclosure - one can be bought on the day if you can't find one.

Watercolour Greeting Cards

If art is more your forte, why not join in on the Watercolour Christmas card workshop. You'll learn basic drawing skills and be introduced on a beginner level into the art of the watercolour technique by artist Jay MT.



The theme of the day, if you haven't guessed it already, is focused around plants, greenery and the Christmas season. If a day crafting gifts for loved ones whilst surrounded by greenery sounds like a good day to you, then head to the booking website to secure your place.
