For all those Aldi-curious shoppers
Aldi has arrived in Perth and shoppers are excited but before you step foot in the store- there are a few things you should know.

Carriers

Unless you are ducking in for just milk and bread, you will probably be needing something to carry your items in.

Aldi's trolleys are coin operated, you might remember this concept from years ago, where you stick your coin in to access the trolley and once you return it properly, the coin releases again.

If like me, you hardly ever carry cash, let alone have coins on you, you might want to invest in an Aldi trolley token to use in the place of a coin.

These can be purchased from- you guessed it- Aldi stores.

Another option would be investing in a grandma trolley, you know those ones with a couple of wheels that you pull along beside you kind of like a suitcase with wheels?

Bags

When it comes to bags, Aldi is BYO, so that grandma trolley might come in extra handy if you plan on shopping at Aldi regularly.

If you don't bring your own bag, plastic bags can be bought for 15 cents each.

Open mindedness

To shop at Aldi you can't have too much of a narrow focus.

Sure, you might have certain things on your shopping list- but be flexible, Aldi stocks plenty of the everyday items but not everything that you might be used to getting in a SUpermarket.

Saying that, you might find unexpected bargains, whether they be food or household items.

Aldi's 'Special Buys' go on offer on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

These can be anything from flat screen televisions, to ski gear or gardening items.

Your Comment
Would not buy any of Aldi's Brand electronic equipment as it is a load of crap & on the East Coast once you have purchased it if it craps out they refuse to deal with the problem.
