Pet-friendly place
Dogs are welcome at but must be on a leash at all times, except within the off-leash agility park. Rockhampton Regional Council has opened a new fully fenced dog agility park and off-leash area near the Charles Street entrance. The space incorporated an obstacle course in an attempt to alleviate dog-related issues the council regularly deals with such as barking and roaming, brought about by boredom.

Free camping area
has 35 self-contained 48-hour free camping sites nestled in the lush green parkland with access off from High Street. Just remember that all vehicles must be able to store all grey water, all black water and all rubbish. Generator use is permitted between 8 am and 7 pm only.

With accessible walking trails and playground equipment that incorporates all abilities, surely there are plenty of things you can do and something for everyone at Kershaw Garden.
