You've just had the call. Great Aunt Gertrude is coming to visit from the country and you need a list of things to do with her this Sunday. Don't start googling, read on. Here are 5 things to do around Melbourne guaranteed to entertain on any Sunday:

Arts Centre Sunday Market

The Arts Centre Sunday Market is held every Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Stalls surround the Arts Centre and lawn. Everything at the market is made locally and items are diverse. You can buy anything from handmade bags to delightful smelling incense. It is the perfect place to purchase a one off treat or present.

Royal Botanic Gardens

The Royal Botanic Gardens is the perfect place to meander. There are many wonderful aspects to explore including over 50,000 plants, The Ian Potter Foundation Children's Garden and The Tropical Display Glasshouse. The paths are easy to navigate, some are flat while others feature a few hills, so you can take your pick and choose your own adventure.

Queen Victoria Market

Australian Mediatechque

The free Australian Mediatechque at ACMI is a great place to sit down and chill out. There are comfortable couches and headphones. You can sit and view on-demand digital films, highlights from Australian Film and a huge range of other movies and clips. It is open from 12noon until 6pm. Viewing provides guaranteed fodder for conversation after a visit.
