Pelican feeding and informative talk at San Remo

See the Pelican feeding and listen to the free informative talk about them in San Remo

San Remo is situated on the mainland side of the bridge leading to Phillip Island.

Each day at 12 noon the main beach showcases a free Pelican feeding and information talk.

The Pelicans enter into the crowd and are amazing to see up close. The talk about them is very interesting. Did you know that they can fly in the sky for 24 hours without resting? I certainly didn't!

Sunset at Red Rock Beach

The Red Rocks Beach is situated at the end of Red Rocks Rd as you drive from Cowes and head towards Ventnor. It is a ten minute drive from the main strip of Cowes.

The viewpoint from the rocks is absolutely stunning. As an avid Sunset fan, I can honestly say this was one of the most beautiful spots I have had the pleasure to relax in while watching the sun go down.

Boardwalk to wander along and take in the amazing view of the Nobbies

The Nobbies are a famous place to visit in Phillip Island, largely due to their connection with the famous penguins.

You can actually visit the Nobbies for free during the daylight hours. There is a boardwalk to trek along and view the Nobbies, the ocean and the Blowhole.

Simply stunning.

Grantville Pier

In Grantville, there is a quaint wooden Pier which gives views of French Island over the sea.

A walking track is situated along the beach which provides information of the shorebirds which reside in the area.

The beach here is very family friendly and there are also lots of rocks and shells to fossick through.
