Campbellfield is 16 kilometres North of the Melbourne CBD. Campbellfield was home to Ford's Assembly factory on Sydney Road that closed in 2016, but it is also full of history, and a great retail precinct.

Campbellfield is a surprisingly historic suburb. The
Scots Uniting Church in Campbellfield is situated at some of the oldest Church grounds in Victoria at 1702 Sydney Road. The first incarnation of the church was built in 1842.
The area also has some natural features, with the source of the
Merlynston Creek at the National Boulevard Reserve located in an industrial area in the north of Campbellfield.

In terms of retail options, there is a long shopping strip at
Barry Road with takeaway stores, cafes, and health and business services.
For the fitness inclined,
Dohertys 24 Hour Gym also has a branch in Campbellfield.
How to get to Campbellfield
Bus routes 530, 531, 532, 538, 540, and 902 service the area.
Railway stations that are nearest to Campbellfield are Upfield station on the Upfield line, and Broadmeadows station, on the Craigieburn line. There was a Campbellfield railway station between 1889 and 1956, but it was closed. For those travelling by car, it is a 30-minute drive from the CBD.
