For something slightly different
Mad March has truly arrived here in Adelaide - the Fringe, Adelaide Festival, WOMADelaide and so on. However, if you're looking for something slightly different to do over this coming long weekend, then here are a couple of ideas to get you started.
Migration Museum Tours - Saturday the 9th & Sunday the 10th
You have the opportunity to join in on a free 45-minute tour of the Migration Museum at either 11am or 3pm. Discover how and why migrants came.
Port Adelaide v North Melbourne - Saturday the 9th
The match between Port Adelaide and North Melbourne will be happening at Alberton Oval at 12:40pm. Tickets available online.
Ebenezer Night Markets - Saturday the 9th
Beginning at 5:30pm, the Ebenezer Night Markets is held just off Rundle Street at Ebenezer Place. There will be some fashion, jewellery and all sorts of artistic creations as well as food, drinks and live DJ.
Craftynoons meets at the Box Factory Community Centre from 2pm to 5pm for crocheting, knitting, embroidery and so on. Sewing machines, iron and ironing board are available. There will also be afternoon tea. All abilities welcome.
Glenelg Sunset Markets - Sunday the 10th
Brought to you by Gilles at the Grounds, the Glenelg Sunset Markets will be held at Glenelg Beach just south of the jetty from 4:30pm until sunset. It is free and family-friendly.
