1. Eat a Chicago Pizza Pie.

This Pizza Pie here, I actually made myself, maybe I should call it a Melbourne Pizza Pie, you know how the Americans are with their copyright. This is the video I stumbled across that inspired me to make my own. Make one yourself.

Years ago, like try 30, there was a couple of pizza restaurants in London, and when I say a couple, that's about all there was. One was called 'Fatso's' and the other 'The Chicago Pizza Pie Factory' - they had waitresses on roller skates serving. I'd seen American Graffiti and loved a lot of the American culture.

The thing was, I never went to 'The Chicago Pizza Pie Factory', but that name always stuck in my mind. So I'm sure there would be lots of Melburnians who'd love one of these too. As far as I know, mine is the only one of two that has been made in Melbourne (I made another one that turned out just as well but, lost the photo). If any one knows a pizza place that does them, I'd certainly be interested.

Maybe people are happy with Calzone, but that's not the same.
This Chicago Pizza Restaurant claims to have invented it. Although I don't think theirs has a lid on it? Ike Sewell, a football star was the man who came up with the original idea or so he claimed. His great grand son (at least he might be, he's got the same name?) plays for Hawthorn, he helps keep the tough as guts hard ball get alive. This site is a cracker.

2. Ride on the Docklands wheel.
Meccano for idiots.

I've got my doubts that this was the position for this sort of thing, Melburnians have seen the view from the West Gate Bridge which is probably better and free.

Who's paying for it? Someone should be getting a pay cut, like about 100%. Say no more. Another Leyland P76 .

3. Drive into a Diner, served by girls on roller skates.

I saw American Graffiti (Again?). Hello, Ron Howard. "hang on you only just saw it in section 1?" "I've seen it more
than once, you know". All that American stuff was great in those days, the cars, the music, the fast food, women in high heels. Those were the days, where did the old honky go wrong, we turned into a pack of gwailos.
4. Drive into Movies.
North&dq=drive in movie theaters&tid=97916a0609cfb93c&sa=X&ei=z6d-T9LFJoy4iAe1yf3TBA&ved=0CC0QxQMoAA Fancy a drive in luv?

Another American Dream, well they do have these in Australia, they almost died out, but luckily didn't. If you haven't been to one, you should go at least once just for the fun of it.

I used to take my kids and they loved it, if you are a single parent this is a great way to take your kids to a movie. Plus you can take a beer, and all your own grub if things are tight. Although if the kids are over twelve (I think) forget it, you have to pay full price, and it becomes out of the question.

Single parents are the most discriminated against group of all.

I think one reason why they almost died out, was because of nookie. Videos, sofa, parents gone out, much more conducive than on the gear stick. I quite often find all these things I write seem to be related to each other without prior intention?

5. See a wall or garage door (and vans now too?) that doesn't have graffiti all over it?

I think here's another thing that has got out of hand. I went for a walk in the city the other night and almost passed out. I was overcome by the aerosols, yes they are.

Some people highlight it as a good thing?

If you want me to write an article on my version of the Chicago Pizza Pie, then leave a message, if I get more than one, I'll do it. Although there is that You Tube link, you should be able to figure it out from there, surely?

Save me the bother of earning four cents?

Is there anything else you'd like to do in Melbourne that you can't?

I know there are lots of other things I've forgotten. **
