You don't have to be a member to live your best life at , although you might need to make a prior booking if you intend to visit for a meal or drink, to ensure you get a table.
Members and non-members are sat in separate sections and when we visited earlier this week, there were only three tables available for non-members as the rest were booked. Our initial intention was to drive in and have a look at the 18-hole golf course and then leave. Somewhere between the entrance and the reception, we decided we would stay for brunch.
My partner and I shared the Full Big Breakfast - delicious and filling. The food was very fresh and the baked beans looked like they went to Harvard.
My sister and nephew had the bacon on toast and fish fingers with chips.
The toast was actually exceptionally tasty and the fact that the crust had been cut off was very kid-friendly.
I love accidental food experiences that end up exceeding expectations. Given it's a member's golf club as well, drink and food prices are subsidised but with no compromise to quality.
The Resort also has accommodation options as well as conference facilities and grounds for hire.
If you're around Thika, this is a great place to drop in for a meal or drink with beautiful views of the golf course.
