by Happy Mom (subscribe)
I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.

Have you tried Heavenly Food?
The best coffee is a debatable issue, with so many wonderful cafes in and around the city, in fact around the country. But there is one coffee lounge that my husband and I have been visiting over and over again: Theobroma. Theobroma also claims to serve the "Food of the Gods" and I would not disagree with this claim.

Heavenly Food available on Earth

With over ten outlets throughout the city (check website for locations) and new ones popping everywhere, there must be one close to where you live. If not, it is worth making the effort to drive to one located at a distance.

Their coffee and hot chocolates are made of the "real stuff" i.e. melted Belgian chocolate, and you can tell the difference.

Their sandwiches are made with fresh salads and the best cuts of meats.

Club of the Gods

They also have an extensive array of gourmet flavoured chocolates, not only delicious but beautiful to look at.
The Belgian waffles are to die for, with a drizzle of milk or dark chocolate or add-ons of fresh fruit or ice-cream.

Belgian Waffles drizzled with dark chocolate - does not require anything else!

Their cake slices are tempting and make you want to come back for more.

Slice of Wild Berry Bliss

Their menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Their coffee and cake special is a stunner deal at $8.50.

The ambience is casual, with chocolate-coloured furniture to go with the theme. Their service is fast and friendly with upfront payments at the time of placing the order.

The hanging lights are shaped like chocolate kisses

If you have not already tried their coffee, you must not waste another minute. Make it your next stop, and then stay for more than just coffee.
