Recounting the adventures in Sydney and beyond! :)

Theobroma Chocolate Lounge located in Rouse Hill Town Centre is one of my latest chocolate cafe discoveries. Rouse Hill Town Centre is a rather new but well-established shopping centre that attracts many shoppers - and I'm sure this chocolate cafe is one of the reasons why!

The lounge not only sells a range of drinks, waffles and fondues, they are also a chocolate store, selling a range of chocolate blocks, pralines and chocolate gifts for all occasions.

I have always been a fan of Belgian Hot Chocolates and am on a mission to try one in every chocolate cafe in Sydney, so it's not a surprise that I just had to order one at this particular cafe.

Belgian Caramel Hot Chocolate

The price of having it served in a cup was about $5.90 but you can have the choice of having it served in a mug with a candlelight (to keep it warm) for about $6.50.

The rich, chocolatey aroma when it was placed in front of me was enough to make my mouth water. Taking my first sip, it was very sweet, creamy and rich in flavour. The caramel taste wasn't as strong as I would have liked it, it was more chocolatey, which of course is not a bad thing! However, it wasn't as rich and velvety as the Belgian Hot Chocolate from San Churro Chocolateria, which till date, still remains as #1 on my list.

Overall, I really enjoyed the hospitality at Theobroma. The environment is really warm and cozy. However, the staff, on this particular day that I went, seemed a little impatient as I was taking my order.

Hi!

In your quest for hot chocolate, have you tried the Aztec hot chocolate at San Churro? The one I had in the Parramatta branch was the best I have ever tasted!
