Themed Tours of Parliament House

To celebrate South Australia's History Festival, Parliament House will be having special themed tours on Fridays in the month of May. The tours will be held on 6 May, 13 May and 27 May 2022 from 9.45am to 10.45am. Each tour will have a special theme as follows:

The theme for the 6 May tour is " Women's suffrage and the Parliament". This tour explores the history and milestone 1894 legislation that made SA women the first in the world to be able to run for Parliament. 

The theme for the 13 May tour is "Art at Parliament House". On this tour, you will see portrait artistry, sculptures and other works inside Parliament House. 

The theme for the 27 May tour is "The Architecture of Parliament House". On this tour, you will see the unique architectural features of the new and old Parliament Houses. 

Parliament House is located on North Terrace, Adelaide. The tours are free, however, bookings are essential. For more information and bookings visit their website .
