The Theatresports™ Schools Challenge will be held at the Irene Mitchell Studio, St Martins Theatre, 44 St Martins Lane, South Yarra on Sunday August 14th at 12.30pm (Intermediate Challenge) and 3.00pm (Senior Challenge). This is a free event supported by the City of Melbourne arts grants program. However, you need to make bookings online due to limited seating. It's suitable for ages 6 to 60 and especially families who'll no doubt love to come see their kids perform.

Fourteen teams, ages between 7 and 12 from schools across Melbourne will perform the improvisation show Theatresports™ . From a single suggestion, they''ll challenge each other to create scenes and stories and perhaps even a few songs. Audiences can cheer for their favourite scenes and boo The Judges if they disagree with the scores.

Come along to support and celebrate the diverse imagination of youth and perhaps our comedians and actors of the future. Theatresports™ fosters the ideals of creative thinking and playfulness as well as building confidence and theatre skills.
