Mother Nature provides the best playgrounds for children
Perth families are invited to celebrate the opening of the new Theatre Gardens playspace in Subiaco at the official launch party these school holidays. This free event takes place on Wednesday 1st October 2014 between 11am and 1pm at the Subiaco Theatre Gardens on Bagot Road in Subiaco.
Situated at the rear of the Subiaco Arts Centre, the new play facility encourages children to embrace play in natural surroundings with natural elements such as water, sand and trees that are incorporated into the space's design.
Some of the play features of the playground include a tight rope walk, water and sand play trays, boulder climb, stilts, balancing beams, basket swings, cubbies and even a puppet theatre. The new playspace is suitable for children of all ages to enjoy play in a creative, challenging and stimulating natural environment.

This unique playspace will be officially opened by the City of Subiaco Mayor at a short ceremony on the launch day. The event includes a range of fun and free activities to keep the kids entertained, where children can build cubbies, make origami and participate in story time with the Barking Gecko Theatre Company.
