Cause Z is for the zoo
Opened in 1992, the zoo is a bit of a safe haven in the middle of the chaos in the valley.
There are a few "house" rules that are worth a mention. They don't serve rum or double-shots, but they are wheelchair friendly (give them a call in advance for arrangements) and they are a "please and thank you" venue. There's also free, chilled water available, which is great for someone like me who dances until I'm "glowing".
I've seen so many amazing gigs there that I can't choose my favourite. From upcoming talent, to big name acts, the zoo will have something to whet your aural whistle. It's also been much cooler inside since the Valley Entertainment Precinct noise regulations allowed the windows to be opened.
You can like the zoo on Facebook here, and I recommend signing up for their e-newsletter at the bottom of their web page here. Catch some live music here soon!
