The Zero Theorem is one of those movies which make you think about it days after you watched it. I would class it as 'the Matrix' meets 'the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'.

For the first 10 minutes of the movie you try to figure out what you are watching. Everything seems so different that you can't really associate any of it with anything you know.

It does not take long, however, to realise that this is a very creatively written and produced movie which can be associated with anything you wish. I found myself tying this movie with everyday living and how our everyday lives are connected with almost every technical appliance you can imagine.

In essence, this movie is about one person name Qohen (Christoph Waltz) who associates himself with 'we'. He is on the quest to receive a call to understand his purpose in life. However, his employer decides to give him a task to discover The Zero Theorem. And, at this point the movie unfolds creatively into an entwined journey of experiences drawing the audience deeper into the lead character's story.

The Zero Theorem, with a star studded cast, is brilliantly produced and creatively designed. It will definitely leave you thinking about it long after you have watched it, and it is a movie I would probably watch again. I would rate this movie at least a 4.5 out of 5.
