Stars of stage, screen and mike as they age gracefully frequently produce 'The Best of ..' albums and so on. Performance artist Scottee, as he lives his youth disgracefully has gone another way.
The Worst of Scottee is performed in a photo booth as Scottee takes four vignette snap shots of his teens and presents them to us in all their tawdy glory. You'll learn why he robbed his grandmother, why he pretended to have AIDS when he didn't and why he faked a friend's suicide. You probably won't like him very much.
By turns deeply touching and hilarious, The Worst of Scottee is pretty much like nothing you are likely to have seen before from agressive tap dancing to poetry recital while drinking milk.
Scottee is 28, an accomplished writer, broadcaster, interviewer, director and artist with a huge future before him and he can be seen in Perth at the Fringe for three shows only at Connections Night Club, 81 James Street, Northbridge at 8:30pm from the 4th of February until the 7th.
