His key message is "respect for all life" and the book considers the often devastating impact of food choices on human health, the environment and relationships with fellow humans, animals and other creatures.
Dr Tuttle will also share his thoughts on how individual and social transformation is possible through empowering people to make different food choices.

The principles in The World Peace Diet incorporate systems theory, teachings from mythology and religion, and the human sciences, and apply to people of conscience from any religious tradition or of no faith.
Dr Tuttle has a master's degree in humanities from San Francisco State University and a Ph.D. in the philosophy of education from the University of California, Berkeley.
For the last 15 years he has presented at progressive churches, vegetarian and human potential conferences, and intentional communities. He has trained as a Zen Buddhist monk in Korea and practices tai chi, yoga, meditation, intuition development, and spiritual healing.
