The Workshop Bar is a place for everyone to go to. It usually gets busy around 5pm when people finish work and come and grab a drink or a $6.50 pizza.

It is here that I visited with a big group of friends. I am a student and on Thursdays they have the special of $2.50 pots for students and $12 jugs.

They are hidden away on the first floor. There is a flight of stairs from Latrobe Street, so it might be a bit difficult to find, but when you do find it, it will remind you of the bars in Hawaii, as it has no air con and it's quite open.

You'll find that there is a huge selection of drinks on offer but not much food, except for the pizzas and the Workshop roll ($5). I really loved the $6.50 pizzas. They were good value for money. I loved the polenta base and all the ingredients used. Service is quite quick too.

I also loved my big glass of lemonade for $2.5 - great value for money!

The only downside is that the music can be a little bit loud, but its not too bad for a quick after work drink
