The place to be it was, with $2 entry after 8 (free before if you're really wanting to save on cash) and $2 pots before 12, it was more packed than an Irish pub on St Paddy's day.
The Workers Club has been around for quite some time and have really established themselves as a great venue. During the day they offer an appetising menu with the most expensive item being around the $30 mark.
They also offer free wi-fi, and a nice cosey atmosphere. during evenings they often have live bands. The back room is a fantastic location for gigs, it fits around 200 people and has it's own bar. Though if you're not watching a gig and do decide to hang out in the front room, there maybe a DJ playing, and as I have just read on their website, those D.J's are "local record store selectors and indie record company spin old soul and new grooves most evenings", sweet.
