Cast and crew places for WA Children's Theatre's latest school holiday production, The Wolf Has No Teeth, are now open!
The Wolf Has No Teeth is the zany story of Little Red Riding Hood's grandson, Prince Tom, and his determination to overcome anxiety.
Designed for kids aged 6-14 years, The Wolf Has No Teeth is part of WA Children's Theatre's 'show in a week' school holiday program hosted at Churchlands Senior School.
King Rufus and Queen Christine are at a loss at why their young heir is struggling with so many worries. King Rufus takes matters into his own hands and tells young Prince Tom to simply just man up! Worry & Panic (Tom's older sisters) do their best to scare him silly, whilst Sir Whiskers (the palace cat) injects much humour. Prince Tom's Jailor 'What's wrong with me' tells the young Prince to go and see his grandmother Red Riding Hood as she may hold the key to overcoming the wolf that is anxiety!
With great songs and dancing, this show is sure to be loved by all children. Plus as part of the curriculum, children will participate in auditions, rehearsals, choreography and be in the performance. All children will enjoy a cast party, receive an autographed poster and a certificate of participation. Also included are two sessions about anxiety and strategies to deal with it.
This interactive school holiday programme will run from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th October 2016 at Churchlands Senior School, from 8.30am to 3.00pm daily. It will be held in a positive, social and relaxed environment with lots of theatre games and is a great opportunity for children who have never participated in a production.
The program will conclude with a grand performance for family and friends on Friday evening at 7.00 pm.
Spots are limited and early registrations are encouraged (cast and crew places are almost full); book your child's place now by clicking this link.
