Now Productions presents The Wizard of Oz at The Golden Grove Arts Theatre from April 8th - 9th, based on the children's novel written by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 film of the same name. There will be two casts, Ruby and Emerald, with different people in principal roles in each.

Dorothy Gale lived on farm in Kansas, but one day her house caught in a tornado and was swept away to a magical land called Oz. During her journey she meets some strange and wonderful characters who help her find her way home. Everyone in Oz is so happy she's arrived but not for the reason you'd think. Dorothy's house has fallen on the Wicked Witch of the East and crushed her. Dorothy finds out that in order to return home she must first visit the Wizard in Emerald City.

She travels down The Yellow Brick Road and meets the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Cowardly Lion, who decide to join her journey. They each have a request from the wizard, the Scarecrow wants a brain, the Tin Woodman wants a heart, and the Cowardly Lion wants courage. Did the wizard grant their wishes and did Dorothy find her way home? Come down to the Golden Grove Arts Theatre to find out.
