The secret of a happy Hobbits life
I was on holiday in Brazil last June when this book was addressed to me by the Brazilian publisher Editora Novo Conceito. As everything about J.R.R. Tolkien is always way too interesting, I couldn't resist this fascinating reading.

So I left the gorgeous weather behind and some good walking along the beach to enjoy a piece of good literature. It took just two days to finish the book. Great entertainment!

Would you imagine that someone had the brilliant idea of introducing us to the simple and happy way of live according to Hobbit's life. Well, Noble Smith describes this perfectly in his amazing book and it certainly works.

[ADVERT]Simple pleasures such as gardening, cooking (and eating, of course) delicious food, hanging around with friends or drinking a nice cold beer at the end of day can guarantee some happy moments. Things that you, if you've read some Tolkien books, would find out these little interesting creatures named Hobbits certainly do.

As a Tolkien's student, Noble believes that the Hobbit's simple lifestyle can truly teach us how to achieve happiness. It's a state of spirit and yet according to him a "model of ideal society".

He made interesting points about it and it's also a great guide to Tolkien fans. This book would make an excellent idea for a present, especially for those who haven't read The Hobbit[/B] or the [I]Lords of the Rings trilogy.

Wisdom of the Shire is the result of very detailed research and I'm still fascinated by the use of references in this book. I will certainly try to prepare the Hobbit's wild mushroom soup recipe, of course.

It's an entertaining, educative and a very interesting reading. Don't forget to complete the Hobbit test in the end of the book and find out if you are following correctly the Bilbo Baggins' way of life.
