I was interested to read about how it all began. Apparently Anthony, Murray and Greg met while studying Early Childhood Education at Sydney's Macquarie University and began writing children's songs as one of their music projects. They enlisted the help of Jeff and the Wiggles were born. Their finished tape was taken to ABC Music who released an album. "The Wiggles" album has since achieved Gold & Platinum status. The Wiggles have entertained Australian children for 20 years and captivated audiences on their tours of New Zealand, the UK and America. The Wiggles have sold more than 30 million DVD's and CD's worldwide, sold over 6 million books and recorded over 700 songs.

Wiggles World , opened at Dream World in 2005. Sadly, that year, Greg had to retire from performing but Sam, an understudy for Greg over the years, donned the yellow skivvy and the future of the Wiggles looks as bright as the world they have created. Back in 1991 when the first album was being recorded, Anthony phoned his mate Jeff to help out. He was renovating his house and his reply at the time was: "Sure, but how long will it take".
