Get whisked away by the The Whisk Fine Patisserie
The Whisk Fine Patisserie is a quaint little find at Sanders Street, Upper Mt Gravatt. This café serves coffee and a fine selection of patisserie made solely by an international award-winning chef (you can tell from the overwhelming display of awards as soon as you enter the shop). Since its opening in February this year, this café has garnered quite a bit of popularity - most of their patisserie selection is sold out by the time it's noon. After paying several visits to The Whisk Fine Patisserie, I was finally able to get my hands (or mouth) on their finest croissants, and I can foresee going back to try out their entire pastry range.
The friendly staff at The Whisk Fine Patisserie. You can also see the award-winning chef hard at work through the kitchen window!
The Whisk not only offers pastries, they also serve numerous types of desserts such as macarons, tarts, brownies and cheesecakes that can be found at the counter. These desserts are as delicious as they appear, fitting in with the charming and cosy atmosphere of the café. The cakes and pastries are also freshly baked from scratch (almost daily), so if you miss your chance on trying them out, don't be disappointed as you know that The Whisk will only deliver top-quality products to customers.
Here are some photos of what The Whisk has to offer:
Chocolate croissant on the left, peanut butter croissant on the right. The mess I made when eating the croissants is surely a tell-tale sign of good quality croissants with the right consistency of crispiness, flakiness and buttery-ness!
The Whisk Fine Patisserie is the perfect place to go for breakfast or afternoon tea. Their selection of cakes, pastries and coffee are also available for take-away, making it a perfect gift for friends or family. Visitor parking is available at The Whisk Fine Patisserie, and it is conveniently located a short walk away from Westfield Garden City for commuters. I would advise you to arrive early however if you want to ensure that you have the whole selection of cakes and pastries to choose from!
