Come and make things with whimsical beads
A creative fun day is just that - fun! If you are into crafts or even if you are not, here is your chance to learn something new. You can make some great articles using these beads and have fun while doing this!
The previous creative fun days have all been a wonderful success. This one is back by popular demand! This event will be brought to you by The Whimsical Bead. They specialise in Polymer clay and mixed media workshops, supplies and artisan jewellery. You can check out all their workshops at this link.
This is a great opportunity for you to come and see where this event is on and what they actually do at the studio. It's also a great time to catch up with other beading students who you may even have met in previous workshops. You are sure to meet some new like-minded people at this free event. Plus, you'll have the chance to take advantage of some great specials and discounts.
There will also be workshops for July - December 2019 on display (where applicable) and available for booking.
This will be a very interesting workshop where there will be demonstrations of particular techniques and products from some of the tutors. There will also be giveaways, a raffle and studio-only specials, plus the tutors will have their own work on display and for sale.
Last time they had a Make & Take session. These were so popular that they will again be on offer. For a small fee, you can learn how to create some beautiful projects which you can then take home on the day.
The cost is a gold coin for the sausage sizzle and they will be raising funds for charity. This gold coin is not mandatory, all proceeds from the sausage sizzle will be donated to a worthy cause. Previously they have donated to local charities, Golden Retriever Rescue, and Beyond Blue.
Those of you who are gluten and/or fructose intolerant will also be catered for.
The studio will not be set up for creating, however, if you would like to bring your beading/maille or something compact would be best, you are welcome to do so.
This is a FREE event to attend. There is a cost if you wish to get involved in the Make & Take workshop. The workshops are actually still free but you will need to pay between $5 and $15 for materials.
Bookings are not required, however, you will need to RSVP to this event. This is so that you will be notified of anything that is planned for the day, discounts that will be offered, and any other things that will be happening throughout the day. You will also be asked your opinion on what you'd like to have on the day. Replying also helps with the catering!
More information will be posted closer to the date as the finer details are organised. You can check their Facebook page and stay up to date.
