A series of laugh-out-loud moments filled with lampoon
The Wharf Revue returned again this year with the indefatigable kings of comedy, sorcerers of satire and masters of mockery. Jonathon Biggins and Drew Forsythe presented another stellar show featuring the amazing cast of Rachel Beck, Andrew Worboys, Douglas Hansell and the kings of comedy themselves, Jonathon Biggins and Drew Forsythe.
Mockery, satire and comedy were taken to a whole new level with The Wharf Revue- Déjà Revue. There were non-stop derision and laugh-out-loud moments that had the audience in hysterics as well as a few involuntary gasps.
Without succumbing to spoilers, the punchlines kept rolling in as we were taken on "themed" journeys of political events throughout the years in Australian and American politics. Each theme presented colourful, excruciating jokes, jarring satire and brilliant performances from the cast, including the spectacular costumes, music and lighting that were all executed with perfection.
There was plenty of dance, songs and extremely hilarious and life-like impressions with the sophisticated silliness that caused bursts of laughter throughout the ninety-minute performance.
