I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
An ABBA Routine That Must Be Seen
15 years and over 21 performances of The Wharf Revue is celebrated in this performance that was filmed on December 22nd 2015. Various stars of Sydney stage & screen were at Dendy Opera Quays to lend their support to and show their appreciation of the creative team.

Look at this trailer to whet your appetite for this merciless mockery of posturing politicians.

ANT-Live provides a "theatre" experience via the small screen. After a short introduction by producer Grant Dodwell, we settled down for 100 minutes of fun. Watching the antics of Amanda Bishop, Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott at the cinema almost felt like the theatre. The audience were very appreciative of the musical interludes, "fabulous" dancing and clever parodies.

Amanda Bishop has performed with the Wharf Revue since 2008 and her performance is chameleon-like. She jumps from a bottom thrusting Julia Gillard to an elegant Julie Bishop via an androgynous chilled Helen Clarke. The female characters she portrays add an extra dimension to the performances of the creative trio.

More details regarding a national tour of cinemas and community halls are not available yet but keep an eye on ANT-Live for updates.

STC The Wharf Revue film is laugh out loud funny, cringe-worthy at times and definitely thought-provoking.
