The November, The Way We Wear Vintage Fashion Fair will return to Albert Hall, Canberra for a special 3 day event.
This popular vintage fashion event will showcase a wide range of pre-loved garments that can't be found elsewhere.
From Friday 7th of November to Sunday 9th of November, 2014, there will be over 150 years of fashion and fashion accessories for sale.
Choose from small waisted Victorian gowns, simple Edwardian tea gowns, sequinned flappers dresses, austere forties day war, prom gowns from the fifties, minis from the sixties, flower power dresses from the hippy era and big shouldered suits from the eighties.
There will also be estate jewellery, costume jewellery, millinery, vintage lingerie, textiles, buttons and bows, linen and lace, fashion art and fashion ephemera. In addition to fashion, event-goers can also peruse retro and vintage homewares from the twenties onwards, vinyl, kitchenalia, vintage luggage and even a 'Blue Lady' painting!
Canberra 'fashionistas' are sure to be in heaven. 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' is a great opportunity to update your wardrobe for Spring and Summer. Items are priced from just a few dollars - so there is sure to be something of everyone.

One particular highlight of the fair is the 'Best Dressed in Vintage' event at 1pm on Sunday where 'fashionistas' (of both sexes) turn up dressed in vintage aiming to take out the $200 cash prize.
The 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' is a ticketed event and is priced as follows: $12.00 Adult • $10.00 Concession • $6 Teen (12 and under)
Tickets can be purchased at the door and are come-and-go multi use.
