I had heard of this place and it took me years to find it. Hopefully, it won't take you nearly as long as it took me.
Make your way to Meyers Place. If you are coming from the Bourke Street side and you end up at the San Telmo door, you have gone too far. Go back a few steps, you will see a random open door. Make your way up the stairs to find a little bit of Italian bliss.
After you find the stairway, you will come to a little door. Don't be afraid to open it. Once you open the door you will find a lovely restaurant with simple decor and a wine list and menu on blackboards on the wall.
There is a reason that this place has been on
Postcards. This little restaurant has been kicking goals since its inception. It's the place where waiter's go for their feed.
The menu is on a blackboard. It is true Italian. Service is simple and quick and the food is delicious. So if you get a chance, make your way to this Melbourne hidden gem.
