Fans of The Waifs will be thrilled to learn that following the release of their 7th Album, 'Beautiful You' and a successful national tour, The Waifs will return to their roots to perform a series of summer shows around WA and the East Coast in January and February 2016. After a few years away, the band have returned with enthusiasm and passion and shown the talent and skill we have seen in the past is still as polished as ever.

Waifs Beautiful You Tour
Their first studio album in 4 years, 'Beautiful You', was nominated for the Best Blues and Roots Album in this year's ARIA awards. They have received rave reviews for the album, and also for their live shows performed this year. The Weekly Review praises "The lush Americana sound feels like their most accomplished work to date". and Rolling Stones reports "Theirs is a camaraderie forged in fire, and when the band members do reconvene...the songs tumble out with ease, and the reflection that maturity begets".
The Waifs are obviously fitting comfortably into the groove of touring and playing together again. They kick off the summer tour on Saturday Jan 23rd, at Leeuwin Estate, Margaret River along with fellow Fremantle talent, The John Butler Trio, for the annual Leeuwin Estate Family Concert.
On Sunday Jan 24th, they return again to The Fremantle Arts Centre where they will perform to their adopted home crowd in what is becoming an almost annual event. Last year's show there was a truly memorable night, and was sold out way before the date.
