The Vintage Shed, located in Tyabb, on the Mornington Penninsula is open from Thursday-Sunday, 10am to 5pm all year around.
With over 60 stalls, the Shed houses everything; from antique furniture, to retro pieces, to industrial vintage equipment, art deco knick knacks, to unique children's toys. Looking for that something special to make your home an envy and that little bit more unique than all your friend's homes that are similar in content and deco; or for a gift for that person who has everything and wanting something a little quirky, eccentric or opulently distinct, or perhaps you enjoy the delicate beauty of antique lace and linen—The Vintage Shed has it all.
Have something in mind and cannot find it? The storeholders are there to help and guide you to the right stall. Chances are if you're looking for it, the Shed will have it. Passionate about their wares, the storeholders also have an extensive knowledge on all items they have on sale. Don't hesitate to ask for information you may need or are curious about, I guarantee you will find out more than you thought possible about the items in a stall, whether it be their function, their use or their whimsical attraction.
Feel free to lose yourself in the discovery and be taken away to another time. What better way to spend a day, foraging in things you never thought of—while satiating your curiosity of history, old world beauty and nostalgia?
