For the first time ever, one of the most popular children's books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, will come to life on the Australian stage from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 July 2015 at La Boite's Roundhouse Theatre.

This is an excellent theatrical experience for children of all ages which also features three other Eric Carle's delightfully timeless stories - 'The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse', 'Mister Seahorse' and 'The Very Lonely Firefly'. With 75 incredible puppets made by the acclaimed Puppet Kitchen from New York combined with Eric Carle's wonderful stories, this is a must see.

Get ready to be enchanted and entertained by the charming characters including an eight-foot red crocodile, a life-sized yellow cow, and a three-metre butterfly. What's more, adults and children alike will be amazed by the underwater world full of all kinds of sea creatures. Whether you are a new reader or grew up with these books, Eric Carle's tales will take you on an incredible journey guaranteed to enthral, educate and captivate everyone.
