This weekend I finally took the time to go and see Breaking Dawn Part 2. I am glad I waited a few weeks to see this film; I would have hated sharing a cinema full of crazy Twilight fans. I do realise this film has already been reviewed by writers on Weekend Notes, however, nearly everyone that has watched the film has also read all the Twilight novels. Therefore, my review is a little different, as I have never read any of the novels.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the conclusion to the Twilight saga. The film opens with where it last left off. Bella, who had been a regular girl for 18 years, is now turnt into a vampire. This was after the birth of her daughter Renesmee. Bella feels that she was always meant to have been a vampire. The film follows the Cullens' gathering together to protect Renesmee from the Volturi. The Volturi believe a crime was committed with the birth of Renesmee. Throughout the film we see the growth of Renesmee and Bella as a vampire and a mother.
After reading many reviews on Breaking Dawn Part 2, I have noticed most reviewers have only given the film a 2 out 5 or a 5 out of 10. I have found this to be very weird. Apart from the Twilight (The first movie to the saga), this would have had to have been my favourite from the other films. Viewers witnessed Bella deal with motherhood and being a wife. Breaking Dawn Part 2 perfectly summed up Bella's life. Viewers have seen Bella grow throughout the saga.
Ignore the ratings others have given this film. If you have really enjoyed the other Twilight films, you will not be disappointed with Breaking Dawn Part 2.
