The Turtle Bay Festival is another one of New York City's annual street fair events. This year, the festival will take place on Sunday, June 19, which also happens to be Father's Day. This would be a great way for family members to celebrate this special day.

Lexington Avenue, from 42nd Street to 54th Street (which is the scene for a lot of street fairs) is the location for this fun-filled festival that features food and musical entertainment. Admission is free, so only bring money if you're planning on buying something to eat or something from one of the many vendors that will be set up during the festival. (You might find Dad that one-of-a-kind Father's Day gift—you never know.)

Take advantage of public transportation so you don't have to worry about fighting traffic or finding a place to park. And don't worry if Dad or anyone else has to use canes, crutches, or mobile chairs or scooters to get around; the venue is handicap-accessible.
