The Blue Room is well-known as a supporter and mentor of young and emerging companies. Those Who Love You is an innovative company formed in late 2015 by seven young Curtin graduates.

Their debut production was The Secret Garden Project which was a sell-out season at Perth Fringe World in 2016. Both critically and popularly acclaimed their first production reflected their aspirations to present original, experimental and engaging work, as does their second production - The Trembling Giant.



Written and directed by Monty Sallur The Trembling Giant is set in the not too distant future in a world where natural resources are dwindling, information is a commodity and the air unbreathable.

Two people Margo (Zoe Street) and Flint (Peter Lane Townsend) bring us the story, reflecting Director Sallur's belief that 'we have a responsibility to discuss and address issues such as environmental degradation and climate change. We're using theatre as a platform to open up a dialogue about the human condition and to encourage social change.'



The Trembling Giant runs from the 10th August to the 27th at The Blue Room Theatre, Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge. Tickets cost between $18 to $28 and may be booked by ringing 9227 7005 or on The Blue Room website here .
