Enjoy a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine and his carriages Annie and Clarabel across the bridge, over the pond, past Gnome Knoll and Crock's Scrapyard, across the bridge again, down around the Branch Line, through the tunnel and back up to Wellsworth Station. Say hi to Trevor the Traction Engine on your way.
At The Train Shed, Thomas is always running, subject only to maintenance rests. Other Thomas and Friends characters also regularly ply the route, such as Toby the Tram Engine, and his carriage Henrietta; James the Red Engine, and the Red Express Coaches; Percy the Small Engine, and the Circus Wagons; Mavis the Quarry Engine, and the Quarry Wagons; and Gordon the Big Engine, and the Green Express Coaches.
If you wish to impress little ones, come to The Train Shed at Vicary's Winery, 1935 The Northern Rd, Luddenham, NSW, for a fun day full of mini trains.. and fun. It is less than 65 kilometers west of Sydney and not an hour's drive.
The Train Shed is open 10am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays only. Admission is FREE, but each ride costs $6.00, or 6 rides for $30. Instead of a 6-ride ticket, though, just add $5 for the
Unlimited Rides Pass of $35 per person per day. Children under 2 years of age can take an adult on the ride with them for free.
It's more than just train rides at The Train Shed though. Children and children-at-heart can drive the Model Train Layout all by themselves, taking Thomas, Toby, James or Percy on a tour of the Island of Sodor.
