Delicious local food trucks all in one great place

I love a good food truck. Luckily for me Melbourne seems to be having a love affair as well as new food trucks seem to pop up overnight offering a range of fresh, fast and mouth-watering fare.

You can find a wonderful wide variety of cuisines, though most are influenced by the Godfather of food truck culture; the USA. Currently on the streets of Melbourne you can find tacos, burgers, ribs, curries, Thai, gourmet sausages, gumbo, quesadillas, frozen yogurt, souvlaki, po' boys and more. That's a lot of good food driving around.

As a food truck is a moving, fluid restaurant on wheels it frequently is found on the fly rather than a planned outing unless you check their Facebook page or website to find out where they're bunking down for the night. The frustrating thing can be when you're on one side of the city only to find your favourite food truck has other plans for the night and are far, far away.

Never fear though as The Trailer Park has arrived. Brought to life by Jess Pryles starting August 3rd, 12pm and continuing every Saturday and Sunday, the Village Melbourne is hosting a variety of the best food trucks Melbourne has to offer all in one convenient and beautiful beer garden on St Kilda Road.

Each month will have a new range of food trucks offering their wares and the inaugural month of August has some outstanding ones to kick off this brilliant event.

Cornutopia
The most amazing tasting Mexican dishes such as tacos, quesadillas and the best tasting buttered corn ever.

Beatbox Kitchen
Offering up simple but kick ass burgers and fries that taste like a burger should taste. There is nothing plastic about these babies.

Curry House
Fresh and tasty curry dishes from countries around the world such as Indonesia, Thailand and India.

Gumbo Kitchen
Providing Melbourne with an authentic taste of New Orleans with their po' boys and spicy gumbo served piping hot.

Bruleč Cart
Come on, who doesn't like crčme bruleč?

The Village Melbourne is the perfect venue with plenty of seating, big shady trees and a licensed bar with a fantastic range of drinks to accompany the food on offer.

Yes, thanks for that. Looks like fun so I tried to go to the website & was only shown a message telling me that my browser is really old.
Not exactly welcoming.
Perhaps I will just order from my local FishnChippery and stay home with Midsomer Murders.
