Three of Melbourne’s Cabaret Heavyweight re-join forces
The Three of Us is back by popular demand after a sellout season in the Melbourne Cabaret Festival earlier this year. The show sees Michael Dalton, Rachel Dunham & Luke Gallagher all called to a meeting by a mystery producer. What could it be about? And more importantly, who will get top billing?
Michael Dalton, Rachel Dunham & Luke Gallagher battle it out for top billing in The Three of Us
Each performer is a star in their own right. Michael Dalton having performed as both as himself and drag cabaret mistress Dolly Diamond has carved a niche in the scene across both Australia and the UK.
Rachel Dunham has one the most commanding voices in Melbourne. With bog vocals and a personality to match, Rachel received 5 star reviews for her role in Rock of Ages and most recently was selected to participate in the New York Musical Theatre Festival with her one-women show Oprahfication.
Green Room award-winning Luke Gallagher is the final member of this troublesome trio. Possibly best known for his personal piece The Gospel According to Luke, he is a slick, professional and very funny individual, both onstage and off.
A four-piece band supports Michael, Rachel and Luke, with musical direction from Cameron Thomas to create a comical and swinging night of jazz, parody and sarcasm at one of Melbourne's premier venues, Chapel off Chapel.
With a run of only three nights, this show is sure to be a sell-out success.
