Ayaka Haneda is a nineteen-year-old pretty girl, who keeps changing jobs. Her pretty face makes it difficult to keep her job and always causes drama in her workplace. When she was a cashier in one mini-mart, the wife of the mini-mart was jealous of her, and then she fired Ayaka because of that. When she was a waiter at a restaurant, customers fought with each other because they wanted Ayaka to be their waitress and serve them.

Ayaka needs a job that doesn't need any qualifications as she didn't continue her studies after finishing high school. She went straight into finding a job to help her family who only had a small fish cake shop. She chooses to work to support her brothers and sisters with their studies.

She finds a good opportunity to work as a wedding planner at Le Blanche, a company that is owned by Nitta Holding. One day Ayaka is sent to Togo Nitta's office after an incident with one of her clients at Le Blance client. Togo Nitta is the President of Le Blanche. A client was angry with Ayaka because her fiancee called off their engagement after meeting Ayaka, their wedding planner. Ayaka tried to explain the situation to her boss. Rather than fire Ayaka, Togo offered Ayaka to be his contract wife. Ayaka will be able to keep her job at Le Blanche while Togo can avoid his arranged marriage.

Togo, as the only son in the Nitta family, is the successor of Nitta Holding. To prove that he can handle the family company, his father asks him to look after one of their business branches, Le Blanc which almost collapsed. His parents suggested he marry a daughter from another conglomerate family and join the two companies. To avoid this marriage, Togo chooses to be in a contract marriage with Ayaka.

Ayaka needs to adjust her life after marrying Togo. She needs to learn to do tea ceremonies and even how to ride a horse. To prove that they are in a real marriage, they post their daily life on the internet. These videos capture everyone’s heart and even help to increase Le Blance's sales as a lot of couples use Le Blance as their wedding planner after viewing Togo and Ayaka’s daily life on the internet.

But Togo’s stepmother doesn’t like Ayaka who comes from a poor family. She tries to separate Togo from Ayaka with her nasty plan, such as hooking Ayaka back to her lovers back in high school, putting Ayaka’s dad's fish cake into bankruptcy, and threatening Togo. To save Ayaka from his mum's evil plan, Togo who now falls in love with Ayaka, wonders if it's the best decision to let her go.

Adapted from the manga series Ousama ni Sasagu Kusuriyubi, this 10-episode Japanese drama featuring Kanna Hashimoto as Ayaka and Ryosuke Yamada as Togo.
