Bell Shakespeare Presents The Tempet

"Exiled twelve years earlier, Prospero is a powerful magician, still seething with anger and a desire for revenge having been banished to his island and usurped by his brother Antonio. And now that brother has been stranded on the same island."

One of the plays that Bell Shakespeare is performing this season is The Tempest. This is the first time that I've ever encountered this play. I've always enjoyed Bell Shakespeare's performances and they never disappoint year after year.

The Tempest was brilliantly delivered, with such passion in each of their performances. Like all Shakespeare plays, this one was no different with quick declarations of love and quite intense passion before ending.

The season runs at the Sydney Opera House from 21 August 15 18 September 15.
