The Swiss Club of Victoria is a hidden treasure in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. In 1899 it was a meeting place in which Swiss immigrants and their friends and family would come together to enjoy traditional foods and music. It has now become a well established place which offers delicious Swiss foods such as cheese fondu, bradwurst sausages with Rosti and many enticing desserts. The service comes with a difference, as the chef and owner, Roger comes out and talks to the guests, which is refreshing.
To help celebrate the traditions of Switzerland, there are many events at the club for everyone and anyone, including their well known and national game, 'Jass' which is a card game with a difference. There are movie nights, ladies luncheons and Swiss folk dancing nights which allow you to feel part of the culture.
