Live music to rock your weekend
If you are a last minute kinda guy or gal, just like I am, and are 18 and yet to lock down plans for this weekend, you should definitely consider grabbing tickets to see one of Adelaide's most iconic rock bands play at Fowlers Live Saturday night (November 14th).
The Superjesus led by frontwoman Sarah McLeod, will be taking to the stage to play all their best loved tunes like Down Again, Gravity and Secret Agent Man, as well as their first single in over 10 years, The Setting Sun, and new material yet to be released.
Formed in 1994 by McLeod and her guitar teacher at the time, Chris Tennent (no longer with the band), The Superjesus went platinum with their album Sumo in 1998 on the back of the awesome rock anthem, Down Again.
Other members at the time of inception were Stuart Rudd (bass) and Paul Berryman (drums), both of whom are part of the current lineup with the addition of Tim Henwood (guitar).

The Superjesus announced a reunion show which took place in February 2013 at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel (affectionately known by Radelaideans as The Gov), and have been busy ever since with their own national tour and a joint tour with another classic Aussie, female led rock band, the Baby Animals.

Having seen The Superjesus live, I cannot recommend highly enough that you get along this weekend to catch them at Fowlers (a fantastic, intimate gig venue) and support both the band, and live music in general while undoubtedly having a damn good, hot, sweaty, ear-ringing time!
Tickets are available from moshtix for $43.80 including booking fee and doors open at 8pm.
