Summer is the season to let loose. A time where you might try new activities before heading back into the routine of work, school, and other commitments. But quite often, we spend a lot of money to entertain ourselves during the summer holidays.
But there are some activities that are both free and engaging.
Here are 5 activities that may appeal to you and will keep your money back in your wallets or purses.
Magic, Mummies and Mummified Crocodiles
The Nicholson Museum (at the University of Sydney) will be presenting an exhibition on mummies on Monday 13th of January from 10am-4pm. See the remains of ancient mummies and the mummies of crocodiles.

From 8pm, DJ Tom Loud will get the party started and open the show with the Hot Dub Time Machine.
How Easy was that?
Learn how to make your own tasty desserts with a demonstration by a baker (who is also the local librarian) at the Surry Hills Library on Wednesday 15th of January at 10:30am.

All balls are made of a rubber coated foam so that it won't hurt if you get hit.
And if you end up loving the session, you can enter in the competition league which will take place every Sunday from the 16th of March until the 8th of June.
