A global technology and pharmaceutical corporation called SunSkye have created a revolutionary new drug that's ready for some human guinea pigs. Eight strangers are enticed by the offer of a large sum of money. The conditions are simply put and requires them to take a pill and be observed for 8 hours, locked in an observation room.

They soon start feeling effects unlike anything they have ever felt before. Their bodies change and they find themselves with some super abilities. The question is, can they control their newfound superpowers and work together to escape the room? Or are these superpowers not for everyone?

Join a special screening of The Subjects, which is rated MA15 at Village Cinemas Crown (Shop 50, 8 Whiteman St, Southbank) on Wednesday 16 September 2015 at 7pm for $20. CLICK HERE for tickets. This is a special one time screening and places are limited, so make sure you get your tickets early.

A film by Robert Mond writer and director of The Subjects, he came up with the idea for this movie after a visit to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time. The thought of a regular human being having superpowers and wondering how they'd handle it was an intriguing subject matter that has now reached fruition. As the 8 subjects are Frank Magree as Giggles, Charlotte Nicdao as Lilly, Katherine Innes as Nikki, Emily Wheaton as Jenna, Spencer McLaren as Devin, Paul O'Brien as John, Tosh Greenslade as Phil and Paul Henri as Corey.

You too can join the experiment and keep up to date with developments on the movie. Sign up now and you'll receive a copy of the full directors notes on how the movie came together.
